Legal Guarantee and Complaints

The statutory guarantee of conformity, remedies for faulty goods and complaint and dispute information for EU consumers.

Draft for review · Updated 20 October 2026. Seller identity, establishment country, target EU markets, contacts, tax treatment and operational arrangements are unconfirmed. These pages explain general EU consumer rights and current website behavior, not full legal compliance. Complete the marked fields, configure and verify operations, and obtain jurisdiction-specific legal review before paid orders open. Nothing in these drafts waives mandatory consumer rights.

1. Statutory guarantee, not an optional warranty

EU rules provide a minimum 2-year legal guarantee of conformity for consumer goods, generally running from delivery. National law may provide longer protection or different limitation periods. These rights exist against the seller and are separate from withdrawal and from a manufacturer's commercial warranty.

2. Non-conforming goods and remedies

Goods must conform to the contract and applicable legal requirements. Consumers may normally request repair or replacement free of charge, subject to impossibility or disproportionate costs under applicable law. Remedies must be provided within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience. Price reduction or termination/refund may be available in circumstances specified by law; minor defects can limit termination.

3. Evidence and costs

Keep the order identification and a description of the issue. Photos may help but should not be imposed where unreasonable. Applicable national law determines evidential presumptions and time limits; an issue becoming apparent within at least one year is generally presumed to have existed on delivery unless the circumstances rebut that presumption. Some countries extend this period. Necessary remedy costs must not be shifted to the consumer.

4. How to complain

A verified complaint channel and handling procedure are pending. Once supplied, identify your order, explain the problem and state your preferred remedy. Do not include payment-card details. No invented response deadline or promise of resolution is made; national complaint rules must be checked.

5. Dispute resolution

The former EU Online Dispute Resolution platform closed on 20 July 2025 and is not offered here. The seller must confirm any competent national or sectoral alternative dispute resolution body and whether participation is mandatory or voluntary. Nothing here removes access to courts or mandatory consumer protections. Cross-border consumer guidance is available from the European Consumer Centres Network.
